Church of God members in White Plains, NY hosted an inspiring event to honor women in STEM and share the significance of their rise in light of Bible prophecy. The event featured three special guests who shared their expertise and experiences: Jewel Williams-Johnson, Westchester County Legislator for the 8th District, now serving her second term; Sarthak Pattnaik, AI and Automation Engineer at Red Key Solutions; and Mirela Djordjevic, Computer Science Professor at Manhattanville University. Each speaker highlighted the unique contributions women have made in their respective fields and the positive impact of diversity in STEM.
The program began with an introduction video about the Church of God, followed by engaging presentations from the VIP speakers. Legislator Williams-Johnson spoke about the importance of representation and leadership, emphasizing how women’s voices shape policy and innovation. Pattnaik shared insights into artificial intelligence and how women have influenced advancements in AI research. Also, Professor Djordjevic led a brief, hands-on coding lesson, giving attendees a glimpse into the world of programming and encouraging them to explore technology further.
