The Church of God in Albany

The bustling Capital District ranks as New York State’s third most populous region. Situated to the west of the majestic Hudson River, this region proudly stands as one of the oldest enduring European settlements among the original thirteen colonies.

Within the Capital District, you’ll find the Church of God. The newly renovated church welcomes visitors from all throughout the Capital District, including Albany, Troy and Schenectady, and beyond.

The church invites members and newcomers alike to delve into the rich tapestry of Christian history through Bible studies and seminars. Church members also carry out meaningful volunteer services in order to actively contribute to the community’s well-being.

For example, the church’s college students organized a campaign at the New York State Capitol to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues. They received recognition from the New York State Senate and Assembly for their efforts.
