Summer Camp 2024: A Week with the International Student Bible Academy

The International Student Bible Academy hosted a week-long summer camp in the Bronx, featuring Bible studies, volunteer service, and fun activities. Students focused on sharing God’s words with one another, being bold and courageous in delivering sermons, and growing in faith.

Unforgettable Summer Camp Activities

Each activity was special and unforgettable for the students. One of the students’ favorite moments was the cooking contest, where they made fruit sushi and competed to create the best one. Other activities included a movie day featuring God with Us, allowing students to learn more about God’s love. A field day with volleyball and kickball brought a lot of laughter and friendly competition. Lastly, an educational trip to the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey gave students the chance to explore interactive science and technology exhibits.

Making Friends and Caring for the Community

Nashley Rosario, a 7th-grade student camper, shared how excited she was to invite her friend, whom she was eager to have participate in an event. “At first, my friend was nervous and afraid about coming and meeting some of the other teens, but when it was time for her to leave, she didn’t want to. Even a week afterwards, she was talking about how she wants to come back because she felt very comfortable around everyone.”

Lastly, as part of their commitment to helping others, campers joined ASEZ STAR for a cleanup at Kossuth Playground. ASEZ STAR is the student volunteer group that stands for Save the Earth from A to Z, Students Take Action Right Now. They worked hard to improve the community space, showing their genuine heart in taking care of the environment.
