Q: How can I go to Heaven?
A: People have wondered about the soul and how we can go to Heaven for centuries. The Bible taught us clearly that we were originally angels in heaven, and were cast down to this earth due to our sins. If we receive the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Christ, we can return to heaven and live happily as angels again. Otherwise, we would end up in hell as a result of our sins committed in heaven. This dichotomy is described as two kinds of resurrection in the Bible.
“Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.”
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
To become those who resurrect to everlasting life, we need first to receive eternal life. That is why Jesus established the Passover through which we can receive eternal life by receiving His flesh and blood.
“‘unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.’”
